Hi,
Have you sold the OEM Floor Mats yet?
I have an '05 Pilot and a "friend" spilled grape soda all over the passenger's side floor. Carpet cleaner not helping much. UGH!
I Googled OEM Floor Mats for '05 Pilot but couldn't find the original ones with the hole clips and logo.

Please don't forget to post a picture of the Pilot floor mats.
I own a 2005 Pilot that looks dark metallic gray with a lighter gray interior. After searching Handaaccessories dot com for a Cargo Cover, I learned from their chart that my car's paint is technically Sage Brush Pearl with a Fern interior. It sure looks gray to me.
Anyway, you can find the color of your floor mats by going to http://www.handaaccessories.com/pilint.html
and scroll down to Cargo Cover, then ADD TO CART where you will be prompted to choose an interior color. There will be instructions on how to read your sticker on the car's interior door frame.
My sticker looks different than the one on the site, but I was still able to read the needed information.
My Interior is listed as "G" and the paint is listed as "NH-662 P-4"
Like I said, my carpet sure looks gray - but apparently it is really fern. There is a slight difference between gray and fern.
I really need to replace my passeger's side floor mat as the grape soda stain is driving me nuts so I am serious about this purchase.
I just want to make sure I get the right color.
Please let me know what you discover on your Pilot's sticker.
Thanks,
Charles |

My interior is gray, code "A".
Sorry! |

Thanks for taking the time to check the code. It would suck for me to get the wrong color.
Unfortunately, new OEM Pilot floor mats cost $130 plus Shipping. UGH!
Why are you selling yours? Did you get different ones?

| Yep, we got the rubber mats. Trying to make the pilot more like my Element I guess. :) |

I had originally purchased an '04 Element LX. Unfortunately, it had some mechanical problems so I had to bring it back. It was under warantee and they traded me "up" to an '05 Pilot EX-L. I wasn't thrilled with the lack of ammenities in the LX comared to the EX. If I had known how stripped the LX was I would not have gotten it in the first place. As fate would have it, I was able to get a loaded car for the same price anyway. I miss the functionality of the Element, though. I couldn't believe how bad the mpg was on the E compared to the Pilot. The pilot is HUGE compared to the E and it has a larger engine, yet the mpg is only a few mpg less. Weird. No aerodynamics on the E, I guess.
Here's a pic of my old Element and my new Pilot EXL... |

Hey Stern, let me dig up a recent thread where I posted a picture of my '04 EXL ( with the fern leather interior ) with the gray floor mats that I bought from someone on this forum.
What I'm saying is that I put the gray floor mats in my fern leather/carpet interior and I think it looks great. Saved me a lot of $ by buying from someone on hp.org.
Hang on I'll find the pic....
Look at the end of the thread... my 2nd row with gray carpet... I personally really, really like the darker contrast.

Hey,
Thanks for the informative reply. I appreciate the link to the pictures. Funny that you were in a similar situation.
Fern vs. Gray Pilot interior floor mats. Hmmmm! Big question. LOL
That picture you linked me to will help make an informative decision. I can get a new set in the Fern color for $130 - or get a gently used set in gray for $60. Big savings! (or I can keep trying to get the grape soda stain out of my original mat - I'm using OXY Turtle Wax Carpet Cleaner. The plastic brush at the can top keeps popping off when I scrub. What a stupid design. They'd be better off making a brush with a handle and using a rubber band to attach it to the can's side. Any pressure on the existing brush/can combo makes the top and spray nozzle pop across the room. What were they thinking? Maybe the designers of the can come from the same school as the people who call my car Sage Brush Pearl and Fern. LOL
My exterior is called "Sage Brush Pearl" but I'm convinced that it's a mistake because there is not a trace of green in the paint. I could see it being "Steel Blue" maybe - but not green. It's a dark metallic gray. Sage Bruch Pearl??? Where do they get this from? Below is a pic of my car. Does it look Sage or Green to you? It looks dark metallic gray to me.
I want to order touch-up paint from HandaAccessories dot com - but I don't want to order the wrong color.
Thanks again for the link. It will really help me make the right decision.

Oh yea.... I forgot...
If you look closely on a bright, sunny day, you will see flecks of pink in it too! No joke!
I actually think its a beautiful, elegant, rich looking color. |

Hey Jestmaty,
Nice picture! LOL
A little off-roading with your Pilot?
Well, thanks for helping me resolve the mystery of my car color. SO....Sage Brush Pearl exterior and Fern interior it is!

If you still have the rims left. I'll take them at your shipped price. I presume that they are sold. I left you an email.
If anyone else has any EX rims, I'm interested.
I'll then have some spare rims left from my LX steel wheels to offer on the board.
