I got a 2003 honda pilot with dvd entertainment system. And it came with a Stock sub, but i dont think it has ever worked...has anyone else had this trouble before?
I took it upon myself to investigate, I almost had the whole back panel where the stock sub is located taken apart, except there was this part of the panel I couldn't get to budge, and that part was near the trench like thing in the back, where you put the unused headrests and such.
Anyways, my main question is, the stock sub that came with the pilot when I bought it new had never worked before I believe, so could it be some wiring issues? Like it not being hooked up? But I do know for a fact that it is a factory sub and it has never worked. would it help that the car was the test drive car?
I called up the honda dealer to ask if they could check on it, they said its $140 to check whats wrong, then extra $ to fix it.

| Since you had it open some pics would be nice so everybody here con see what are you talking about. And help you better. But to me and since the stock sub don't last to long i think it may be blown out or some wire may be disconected. somewhere. |

what sucks is i didn't take pics, but i saw some pics of somebody who got the whole panel out.
