Adding an aftermarket stereo to my 05 EX-L with Nav - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am interested in upgrading the stereo in my 2005 Honda Pilot EX-L with Navi. I have been looking around, and am interested in the Pioneer FH-P8000BT. Will this work for me? Is it possible to keep my factory navigation system working since it looks to be independent from the stereo head unit? I think I can make the Pioneer fit, but I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks.

Remember that your factory NAV unit plays instructions using the front speakers through the factory headunit. If you replace the factory headunit and don't rig some sort of external speaker for the NAV, you won't be able to listen to voice instructions.

Thanks for the feedback. If the only thing I'll lose if the annoying voice instructions I disable anyway, that may not be so bad :)

Thanks.
