1-click roll up/down window - Click HERE for Original Thread

i tinted the 2 front windows last week and now the 1-click roll up/down window on the driver's side is inop...maybe it got wet?

the window still rolls up and down. all the windows, locks, door ajar, etc works. i removed the door panel and made sure that all connections, harnesses, and plugs are dry and installed properly (i even used a hair dryer to make sure everything is dry). but still the 1-click roll up/down feature doesnt work anymore.

any suggestion guys? is there like a reset thing that i have to do since i took-off and on all the plugs/harnesses. does honda got complicated with electronics?

thanks in advance...

Try this...

Hold the down button for a couple 'o seconds after it rolls all the way down. Then hold the up button again for a couple of seconds after it gets all the way up.

That is the way I have to program my '04 if I ever lose power as in jump start, change battery, etc...

Let us know if it works.

If you have your owner's manual, this process should be in there as well..

I had to do the same thing stated by jestmaty. My battery died and it wouldn't work after that. Just make sure that the door is closed when you do this otherwise it wont work.

i would also try jestmaty's solution. if that doesn't work, then check to ensure that the plastic silver panel that holds all the window switches is firmly snapped in place. i had the same problem when i replaced the speakers in my doors, and found that the panel was not inserted all the way. a good push and it snapped in, and the auto up/down functioned again.
