OK, so now my 2008 Honda Pilot EX-l with Navi with 3200 miles has now started making yet another type of noise.
Each time the car starts moving from a stop, I her a creaking noise from under the steering wheel. It's just like when you walk on a very old wooden floor and it creaks.
Same thing happens when it is coming to a stop.
I had a clicking noise problem before (from the exact same location), but that somehow disappeared on its own.
Anyone else had this issue with their Pilot?

Yes, I also do have exactly the same problem:
If i accelerate from full stop I can hear that
creaking vs. squeaking noise coming from somewhere under the steering wheel.
Same happens when I decelerate and sometimes I can hear it when slowing down or speeding up, altohugh it;s somewhat muffled by engine noise. But it is annoying.
I took the car to dealer 3 times. And they cannot find the cause. Post update if you resolve this problem. Thanks. |
