I have a 2003 Pilot and the radio is now all static even though the stations are tuned correctly. Has anyone else had this problem?

My '06 had something like that happen but not as bad as yours. I was getting poor FM reception but could still get some stations. I took it in under warranty and Honda replaced the wire going from the antenna to the HU and the Radio itself!

If you're getting pure static I would first check all of your antenna connections. I also believe that there's an antanna amp in-line somewhere. Check that too.

Good luck!
Larry.

I am also receiving poor signal sometimes. Which makes me wonder can it be because of all those HD radio station coming up.Any thoughts

I am having problems with my radio getting poor reception also. I have a '06 pilot. I took it to the dealer and they said that they could find nothing wrong.

I can pick up the same radio stations in my other vehicle with a stock radio and I used to be able to get them before, so I know that there is a problem.

It is still under warranty so I would like to find the problem before the warranty expires.

The antenna is in the driver's side rear window. Does anyone know how the antenna connects to the cable going to the radio? I do not want to remove anything for fear of voiding my warranty.

An update on this issue.

I took it into the dealer again and they found the problem. The antenna was broken somewhere around the glass. They called in a local glass repair tech to fix it.

All under warranty...happy!
