I have an 06 Pilot EX L w/navi. Where can I get a replacement cabin air filter that has activated charcoal? Thanks.

Unfortunately, the official Honda replacement cabin air filter part does not contain activated carbon like the factory part. Go figure. It's pure white, not grey like the factory filter, and costs about (choke) $50.

Fram, however, has just introduced a line of cabin air filters called 'Fresh Breeze' that contains both activated carbon and baking soda. So far I have not seen it stocked at any of the auto parts stores around here. Might take a bit for the new parts to filter through the distribution system. Look for Fram part #CF8813A (note the suffix "A").

For info go to the Fram Fresh Breeze site here

Note also that although Bosch does make a 5 layer cabin air filter that also contains activated carbon, they don't make it for Pilot or MDX applications. Bosch Part# for standard cabin air filter: P3890.

You can order the Fram Fresh Breeze cabin air filter at Amazon.com. It's currently going for $28.21 with free shipping.
