The NAV disc on my 2004 pilot is the black disk from 2003. I recently downloaded version 2.4 (2007) which was 7.4GB comprised of an .iso file. I burned it successfully on a dual layer DVD disc. My PC can read it fine, but the NAV computer can't.
Any ideas what to try? |

You might try burning another copy. Maybe you just got a bad blank? I'm assuming you're using a DVD+R and not a DVD-R blank. I've also heard that you should try burning at a very slow rate. Try going at 2.4x speed. And, don't use generic brand blanks. Only use good stuff like Verbatim.
I use Verbatim DVD+R DL blanks (I keep a copy in my car in the Navi drive and the original safe at home).
If that doesn't work try looking on ebay. I'll bet you could buy it pretty cheap since it's not the current version (I think 2.5 is the most current).

Hi Larry, I used a Memorex DVD+R DL disc burnt at 2.4x. Are you using ver 2.5? |

Others here have said good things about Memorex but I personally use Verbatim.
No, I don't have version 2.5. It won't run on my '06 Pilot.
