| anybody know what %, how strong the factory tint is for the '05's? and is is possible to get a second layer put on over it? or is it better to strip the original and go to a darker level? |

| I believe that the tint is about 20%. I had 20% put on the front windows and it pretty much matches the back windows. You can go over the factory tint but it makes the windows extremely dark at night. If you go over the factory tint with 20% you will be really close to 5%. I hope this helps. |

| you cant "strip" the factory tint. its actually pigmented glass, not tint film. |
