2007 Honda Pilot Cabin filter - Click HERE for Original Thread
plchan
Hi there,

Per the owner's manual, the cabin filter needs to be replaced for each 15k miles, IF it has been driven in a very dusty area.

I live in a sub-urban area and I did not change it @ 15k miles. Should I be sweating about that since I notice the AC is not as cold as it used to be.

Regarding the AC filter, I believe it needs to be changed in 15k or 30k. Can someone provide some advice on it when I should be replacing the AC filter?

Thanks.

Change it out how ever often you want to. If you're really that paranoid then change it out now just to be on the safe side. There's a DIY stickied in our maintenance section, go take a gander.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply and I do admit I am sort of that paranoid when it comes to car, especially it is my first Honda SUV (or per se, my first brand new car. haha).

Additionally, how often do I have to change the VTM-4?

I did not change it when it first came on from the MM (or I believe I got tricked to take up those "pre-package" service @ 5000 miles or 7500 miles).

But again, I have only been driving on local street and freeway, and have not taken the car to high-up yet; even though I wish to.

Read your owner's manual or follow the maintenance minder, it why Honda engineers put there in the first place.
