Turning off text-to-speach for iPod song titles?? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Only had our 2009 Pilot Touring for a few days now, but have been trying to learn everything about the Nav system. I LOVE the new iPod integration with the Nav, it looks and sounds great! However, once annoyance I can't find the answer to in the manual or in the brief time I have had to play around with settings:

Is it possible to disable the Nav reading the titles of the song being played when switching to the iPod "now playing" menu? This happens every time I am in some other menu or screen (say the map view) and then press the "Music" button. The voice then speaks the title of the song that is currently selected/playing, which was amusing for the first few times (such as the first time I heard the monotone female computer voice say "Yellow Submarine", or especially how badly in pronounces some tracks with odd spelling or non-English words), but then quickly becomes annoying!

I want to know how to shut this feature off, without having to disable the voice altogether (so I can still have the voice guide me to my destinations when needed)

Anyone know how?

There is an option on the set up menu called Interface Dial Feedback, you can set this to off and then it wont read to you!

Hi by the way, i am new to the forum and the proud owner of a new black 2009 touring!

I find this annoying also. I am going to find this setting and turn it off.
