I noticed the rear AC on our '03 is not putting out anything. The front works fine. I have had it on and off the rear AC manual setting, on and off auto, etc. and still no luck. It was working fine the other day. Is this something I need to take in for repair or am I overlooking a setting on the AC controls?

Good reading and info. Our car has an extended warranty. I will call to see if that is covered (should be). If not, I'll fix it myself.

Found out from the dealer the part is not covered under our extended warranty, drivetrain only. I brought it back home and did the repair as explained in the thread above. The rear AC works, but the fan blows on high all the time regardless if the front is on or not. Did anyone find a solution for this?

Obvious short. Without a schematic I wouldn't fathom a guess. Did you replace the module or did you go the soldering iron route? If you did the former, take the module back for an exchange. If you did the latter, I guess you're on your own. I'm dubious of some of the "guesswork" about the component people are replacing.
