Rear Blower noise? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Strange...When I have the a/c on with the fan at about 2 or more bars, I hear a noise underneath the center armrest console only when I am braking hard. It sounds as though something starts to rub against a fan or something. Is the rear blower located underneath the center console? How can I open it up to see if something may be rubbing against the fan?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, the rear blower is located in the center console. Here's how to open it up (different topic but I think you can get to what you need):

Great! That's exactly what I was looking for. I bet the blower intake screen has something rubbing against it.

Hi Kevinssf,

Check out this posting from a while ago. It will show you how to get a TSB once you have the number. You can get most of the numbers from alldata.com.

Good luck!
Larry.
