I am the second owner of a 2005 Honda Pilot EXL. I originally owned a Pathfinder when the nasty oxygen sensor issue popped up. I like the Pilot, it has a dark tan interior with heated leather seats... perfect for winters on the East Coast.
My problem came up when I took the Pilot for a long ride. I realized that the leather seats have very soft foam padding, much softer than the cloth seats. My back needs support that the buttery soft foam does not provide. I have driven a relative's Pilot for many hours on another trip and did not experience any problems.
Is it possible that the leather seats could have the foam replaced or is this a difference between Pilots that I was unaware? Has anyone else experienced such a problem? |
