Does anyone know if the 2009 Pilot Navigation system has an AUX or GPS output? Or where I can tap into the existing GPS output to get NMEA data? I want to utilize the exising NAV for HAM radio APRS. Anyone tried ?

Who is the OEM for this unit ?

Thanks,

Randy

Do not know anything about first part of question, but Alpine has been OEM for Honda/Acura in past. Would assume it is still the case..

You cannot get NMEA data out of the factory Navigation system.

I'm pretty sure you can display the GPS coordinates of your current location (like on my Odyssey), but that's about it.

That would be great if we could. In my 06 there is no serial connection that enables us to do it. I have used the DeLorme unit with my laptop to get data......

There is a PC Card port for diag. functions including detailed logging.

I don't know what you can do with that but it is a possibility.
