U2 Color ipod Issues with Touring - Click HERE for Original Thread
MongoSith
Hello everyone,

Just took delivery of an '09 Touring with RES on Saturday. So far we have really enjoyed the new vehicle but I am having issues with my ipod and the USB connector.

When I install my U2 Color ipod, the radio states "Unsupported Version". Any ideas? My daughter's 2 gig Nano works perfectly. Really would love to have 20 gig's of music at my fingertips with the integration.

Thanks,
MongoSith

Thanks for the replies.....The firmware is the latest, so I am not sure what the deal is. I will try a reset of the actual ipod and report back.

The U2 Color iPod is a 4th gen. The list jc9394 provided does not list the 4G as supported. It appears to only support 5g and up.

That is correct, I have a 4th gen one is basically use as paper weight. Luckily I got a iPhone. Use the standard aux input but you can not control it via the Honda system. Better yet, get a 4 or 8gb flash drive for copy all the mp3 to it.

Thanks for everyone's help. I will probably go with the 4 gig flash drive. Just a shame that I have a nice shinny 20 gig paper weight!

Same here, I just dock my 20gb paperweight at the Bose sounddock all the time.
