| A fork. Yep a fork. Bought the vehicle in Texas and always heard this rattle in the rear hatch when closing it and I finally bit the bullet and took the inside cover off to investigate and Voila! |

A friend in CA went to the dealership for a clunking sound on sudden accelleration or braking. After a serious examination of the vehicle the service technician removed a can of :1: refried beans from beneath the power drivers seat. He never would tell me what that cost him!
At least it wasn't a Rattlesnake... you never know what you can pick up in Texas :rolleyes: |

I will add that it was very ornate.
It was a pink handled fork with very nice detailing in the handle. |

Now that I think about it, this fork could be the beginnings of an "urban legend" here on hondapilot.org :p
I had a friend that had a Ford Maverick once that was rusted all except for the driver's door. He had a rattle in his door, took it apart, and guess what was painted on the inside!
"DRINK COCA COLA"
Me thinks they ran low on sheetmetal that day :D |

| I have an 01 BMW 540. Upon acceleration and braking there was something running the lengths of the center console and back. Sounded like 100 marbles. I had the stealership take the console apart under warranty. What did they find? 35 jelly beans courtesy of my daughter... |
