It seem that my amplifier has demons in it. Almost everytime that I start the vehicle, the amplifier pops. Has anyone else had this problem?

This is not a new issue. IIRC, Honda had addressed this problem by replacing the radio under warranty. I don't have a link to a specific TSB, though.

IIRC it's the ANC (active noise control) that causes the pop.

Check out this TSB. Does it describe your problem? Does your VIN fall into the specified range? Well, if this describes your problem exactly and your VIN is outside of that range I'd still bring it in.
Good luck!
