Thanks in advance for your help...
1. I can't get the trip computer to display all the functions on the multi-information display. The owner's manual shows it should toggle between numerous functions including real-time MPG gauge, average MPG (tied to trip A), average speed (trip A), estimated range left in tank, etc. But on mine it only goes to the first, real-time MPG display. If I use the SEL/RESET button to toggle it leaves the real-time MPG static on the time but toggles the display items on the bottom between ODO versus outside Temp and Trip A versus Trip B. I can't find any way to get to the other trip computer functions. I am still on my first tank -- is it possible these don't show up until you have completed and reset trip A? The dealer frankly had no clue. At first they said it couldn't do those functions and when I pointed them out in the manual they said they didn't know and would research it and haven't gotten back to me.
2. A lot of the promotion materials from Honda, including numerous images on their website and the brochure, show the dash display with a cool pale blue glow instead of the white. It looks like a blue light reflecting off the white if I had to guess. I like this more than the white but can't find any way to get it. Again the dealer didn't know.
Thanks again. |

| Try pressing the info up/down buttons on the front right side of the steering wheel (above the SEL/Reset button) once you have the Real-Time MPG display up. That should toggle you to the Average MPG display. |

Thanks. I had tried that but it doesn't work. When I di it it just goes back to the title screen for the "trip computer" on the first hiut other either up or down then cycles to the other functions (handsfreelink, tire pressure monitor, etc.). |

To be honest, I have trouble remembering exactly how to do it until I'm sitting behind the wheel. It is definitely some combination of those three buttons that brings up the Avg MPG, Range etc. Maybe, you have to bring up the Instant MPG, toggle to one of the other sub displays via the SEL/Reset and then hit the info down button. I usually have the bottom of that display with Compass Heading, Outside Temp and Trip A.
If I think about it on the way home, I'll change the display and try to remember how I do it and post another reply. |

Not sure if you have to be registered with the Honda owner's link site or not to get this page, but here is an example of the glowing blue bacground I am looking for. The same background shows up in a lot of Honda's videos and images about the car...

| I had the exact same issue trying to figure this out. I finally had someone at the dealer show me. When you get to the Trip Computer screen, hit the SEL button. That should display the instant mpg, temp or mileage (depending on your setting), and trip miles. Then hit the down arrow button...the one beneath the up arrow with the I on it. This is how you scroll through the other trip screens. See if that works. |

This sequence is a bit tough to remember. The key is hitting the DOWN and not the UP to cycle through the screens. It's a bit counter-intuitive to me.
To me, UP and DOWN should cycle through the same sequence but in a different order. No so in this case. |

Thanks. I figured that out while playing around late last night. What makes it worse is it only performs that way on that exact sub-menu. I had experimented with that button before and all it did was toggle the top menu in the reverse order of the upper button. In hindsight by the time I got to the trip computer I must has gotten used to it being interchangable with the top button and not specifically tried it. Bad UI design -- buttons should performa consistent function. Oh well, glad I have it figured out now. |
