Ok so this might be a new one for you all. I have a 2007 Honda Pilot. I recently purchased an Ipod FM adapter that plugs into the lighter. The adapter was very long and started to "unscrew" the lighter from its hole under the radio next to the seat warmer switches. I can see the circular metal ring that the lighter screws into but I cant get to it. Is there a way to remove the bottom cover under the radio area.. if you need pics i can post some. Thanks to any reply.

I don't know other forums but here, you don't wait untill somebody asks for a picture.......you just have to post them and besides by looking at pictures makes it easy to help you out.......
Just to help you out I have a 07LX and what i have next to the lighter is "not an ash tray" in order to get acces to the wire of the lighter.
i took the not an ash tray out and you'll see an metal braket which has 3 screws and by taking it out you should have acces to the back of the lighter...just to give you and idea....

unfortunately my pictures didn't turn out to great due to no light at 10 pm. Ill take some in the morning.

I have a 07 EX-L with Nav.

Just to the left of my lighter is the Driver and Passenger seat heater. The only way I can see to get behind the lighter is a plastic piece with some wires in it (unk what it does). I can reach the back of the lighter but just not far enough to screw it back on.

Try this.
Push the lighter body in, rotate the body 1/2 turn counter-clockwise. pull the body out until the ring behind the panel is touching then rotate 1/2 turn clockwise. repeat until it's tight.
