| I bought a honda pilot 2005 EXL from an used car dealer.I noted the remore key was not working. The dealer said could be the battery needs to be replaced. Then i came home, changed the battery(same model # battery), but still not working. Dealer who sold the car is 150 miles away. So cant go back to him. Not sure if this key needs re-programming or something |

Welcome to the HP>org fam.
too bad you remote don't work, what makes it worst is the fact the he is far far away. Buty try bringing it to a HONDA stealer.. Just to see what they might say about...or test it..etc...And don't forget to post some pic's\\
at least just to se what color you got... |

| before you bring it to the dealer, check if your central lock is working. if all 4 door locks work when you press the unlock and lock button of your driverside door switch then yes it must be the remote. if one of more doorlocks is/are not working then you need to change the locking mechanism before you can have your remote working again. I bought a black Honda pilot EXl 2005. Inside Beige leather.
The driver side central locking switch is working fine.
It just the remote lock/unlock.
Also my TPMS indicator is not not turning off.Its showing up after like 10-15 minutes i drive. Got to test the tire pressure too when i take it to the dealer. |

i went to Good year tires, and they told that valve stems are missing snd because of corrosion all 4 TPMS sensors need to be replaced. They told it costs 325(parts)+85(for labor). For now they re-set the indicator though. Since TPMS indicator problem was existing when i bought from dealer, i need to ask the dealer.
not sure what I can do if he says he will not bear the expense for fixing TPMS problem. |
