| I've found a Certified 2007 EX with about 23k miles on it. No upgrades on it other than the 4x4. Only 1 scratch on the front left fender and no dings. Dealer price is $22900 - how much lower could this feasibly be? Thanks. |

I have a good comparison. Bought a Certified 2007 EX 2WD (no upgrades!) with about 20K miles in April, about $23,500. Ever since then, I've seen nothing in the news except how the used SUV market is flooded with vehicles. Seems you ought to be able to talk your price down quite a bit. Edmunds.com is a good resource. |

After some talking last night we got them down to $24k even (after tax, title, etc) including a hitch (no tow package), cross bars, and an auxiliary audio jack. So we'll see. |

FWIW, I got a Certified 2008 EX-L (everything but Nav) with 6500 miles on it for $24,500. That was the weekly paper special which I thought was too good to be true, but they honored the ad.
There was about a million people in the dealer looking at Fits and Civics and just me looking at Pilots. You should definitely have some leverage right now. |

If they put a towing hitch on it then you should insist on having them put the power steering fluid and transmission fluid coolers on the car. Honda requires it. |

If I ever see the need to haul anything at all I'll probably head in and drop the coin to equip myself. Considering I don't even own anything towable and only plan on a hitch-mount for my mountain bikes I'll be well under the 1000lb limit without the tow package. |
