All season floor mats - AGAIN - Click HERE for Original Thread
2GREENCARS
I am a new Pilot owner. I'm not sure if all of you have these or if any of you are interested in these.

If so, I'd like to start a group buy for the All season floor mats. Any takers?

I've heard such wonderful things about them and, of course, must protect my pilot's interior!

:2: :2:
davejulien
What's the group price? Honda Accessory site has them for $85.20.
2GREENCARS
I believe it's HondaAcuraWorld's price minus 10% plus $2 shipping.

Their price is:
Honda Pilot All-Season Floor Mats
Code:08P13-S9V-100
Price: $92.30

So, it still should be less.
2GREENCARS
Does everyone have these already? Am I the only one who doesn't have them yet?
tonyrwc
I'm interested, how much are they?
2GREENCARS
The exact deal is 10% off the current price at Hondacuraworld, plus a flat $2 handling fee and FREE shipping.

C'mon the rest of you - do you already have these or do you want dirty carpets in your pilot?

Anybody committed to getting these?

A couple of data points... the previous Group Buy for the all-season floor mats just ended a couple of weeks ago so it may still be a bit early, especially if many folks jumped on the last GB (so you may just be targeting newbies or people who didn't log on during that GB from here on out). The other thing to note is that the previous GB started out on 2/13/03 and it wasn't until 4/1/03 that Tim gave the go-ahead after 10 people signed up (so to speak).... Just some food for thought in case you don't get a large turnout right away. :)
2GREENCARS
Thanks, Kemosabe! You're probably right.

Kemosabe -

YOU have much to learn, Grasshopper.

One should never count their floor mats before they're group bought.

19 hours? Or 29 hours? Did you ever check? Maybe it was my typo... :bonk:

If it was 19 hours and 10 folks, then that's 1 folk every 1.9 hours, right? Where is florida_guy when you need him to check my math count...??? :D

I've been working my hinie off and will be for a while to come I'm afraid. :(

Got a couple questions first for those who have these already. So it says they completely replace the carpeted mats. Does the set come with mats for all 3 rows? Do they have some sort of studs on the bottom to keep them from slipping around? I'm one of those folks still on the fence. My wife says she wants them but I'm thinking that we already have the mats that came with the car. Seems kinda silly to me to buy another, less attractive set. If the carpeted ones really do get bad over the years, then why would I not just buy another set of carpeted ones? Besides, there is such a thing as carpet cleaner. I have some at home that works wonders in a car.

I hate it when a guy makes sense. Actually guys, upon reading Kemosabe's post of how long it took for the group buy on the last set of mats (almost 2 months), you better count me out of this group buy, I dont want to wait this long. I finally took delivery of my new Pilot last Thurs. eve and I'm afraid to get my new floor mats dirty. So I'm going to order them right away
brews1
I bought the Honda all season mats and wish I didn't. They don't cover the floor at all and leave too much of the carpet exposed. If I had it to do over, I would buy the husky mats instead.
humanpole
My Pilot arrives this afternoon and I need some all weather mats...

here is what I do....I have them in the Pilot and place the original carpeted mats on top of them. Both are exactly the same size to they are covered.

When I want to use the all weather mats I just throw the OEM behind.
krygny
I'm interested and I can wait a few months. I'll probably only use them in the winter.
2GREENCARS
This is a bit embarrassing - but we were just given the mats...sooo...I don't really want to buy a 2nd set...Sorry, guys, I feel really bad.. :(

I'm not really sure that there's enough interest out there at the moment - perhaps it would be better to wait until slushy weather anyway...
timchen
With more and more pilot member on this forum, it shouldn't take as long as before.
davejulien
I'll let you know if I'm interested. Right now I'm in the middle of reorganizing the finances due to our recent 40K purchase(interest included of course). :)

I should know in a couple weeks.
HondaFan
I missed the last group buy on All season floor mats and after getting the cargo tray, I really want the mats to match :2:
kemosabe
Okay, 2GREENCARS, who started this Group Buy is no longer a part of it... :p

From what I've read so far, this seems to be the current list:

  1. davejulien -- ??? (bean counting...)
  2. OhPilot
  3. idloveaguinness
  4. Raoul Duke
  5. humanpole
  6. krygny
  7. timchen
  8. HondaFan
2GREENCARS
Yeah, thanks for reminding me! :2: I didn't want to look gift mats in the mouth though - simply couldn't refuse them - and what would I do w/ 2 sets? I'm having enough trouble figuring out what to do with the original mats....
