It's that time of year again where I dig out all the X'mas CD's Iv'e compiled & listen to them from now until the 1st week of the New Year. I've made a habit of picking up one CD every season for variety, I have the classics by Crosby, Sinatra as well as more contemporary from the likes of Harry Connick Jr. Two years ago I came across Poets & Angels CD by Ottmar Leibert & it quickly became my favourite, last year he came out with Christmas+ Santa Fe CD & quickly joined the previous CD @ the top of my fave list.
Since buying the 1st CD, I learned more about the artist & found that he is an extremely talented guitarist, his songs are heavily influenced by Flamenco which got me hooked instantly. This type of music just had such an effect on me I went out & bought more of his CD's. I've eventually discovered other guitarist's that play similar music & have collected a few other CD's, those include CD's by Jesse Cook from Canada & the master himself from Spain Mr. Paco DE LUCA. Anyone else listen to or play flamenco guitar?
