Can anyone recommend a quality exercis bike? I have looked at the Schwinn 103 upright for $399. I'd like to stay in this price range or slightly higher.

Can't recommend one to you, but do you have a Sports Authority near by? I bought my elipticle from there and at a great price. The thing went on sale from $499 to $399 and then I had a 25% off one item coupon. That took another $100 off the price. I just saw them advertising the coupon again in last weeks Sunday paper, so keep your eyes out for it. Good luck with your purchase.

You are one amazing guy. :29: I bet you are going to have your wedding at one of the Disney World Hotels for $78.52 after coupons and rebates. :D

Are you near a Costco?

They generally have some good quality exercise bikes in stock at very good prices, from Schwinn, Nautilus and others.

I picked up a recumbent Schwinn bike there last fall for something like $360, and I've seen the same or similar Schwinns models go for $500 elsewhere.

Also might want to check out their web site Costco.com

No, unfortunately I can't pull this kind of stuff when it comes to my wedding because the misses doesn't like my tactics. She thinks that everyone should pay the same price for the same item. Although she liked the fact that I got her car $4000 below what the initial offer was, after the deal she had a few words for the sales guy about how if she would have come in herself she would have been hosed and instead I got a great deal because I was a guy that wouldn't just give in. Anyway, the way I look at it is as long as everything turns out good that day, it doesn't matter how much I pay. I just want her to be happy.

The company wouldn't sell it for that if they didn't make money. Besides they make out because a lot of people forget to send in the rebate after they buy it. You are not in charge of making sure the company you deal with makes a profit. They are. Of course, I'm probably preaching to the choir
