Honda Dealers in Tacoma,Wa. - Click HERE for Original Thread
Nomad 28
Any information on the dealers in the Tacoma,Wa. area? Chris Stacy at South Tacoma Honda (their internet guy) seems to be very willing to help.

I have a new Pilot on order from them, so I walked into the service dept. yesterday and asked them about some of the major problems I had read about on this site.

Their remarks:(Q)Have you had any complaints about the 70 MPH vibration? (A)Never even heard of it.

(Q)What about wind noise complaints from the roof rack?
(A)Never even heard of it.

(Q)What about the door scrunching noise?
(A)Never even heard of it.

Gee, a perfect Honda shop, that has no Pilot problems. Guess I will have to print out the TSB"S for the brake clunk before I bring it in, if that does happen.

I gotta throw out my plug for West Hills Honda across the bridge over here in Bremerton...See PJ Zellinsky, he was great. He is not the typical salesman, and he's a Pilot driver too :) I used Costco BTW, and he is the contact.

I also bought from West Hills. Definetly ask for the costco discount. I didn't use PJ for sales, but I'm sure it was his pilot i used for the test drive. :D

Probably true, PNW-Pilot,

If it was cloth with a deflector, it probably was his. He even loans it out when a PJ buyer needs a loaner. When I test drove, they had a Canadian Pilot as their demo car. I had to buy the US twin, I love it so much :)
Costco got me -100 off MSRP with NO PRESSURE, just "here's the price" written on the paper. Which was about $2000 less than they were letting them go for at the time, so I was happy with it. No pressure, great experience. I wonder if Costco is a better deal now?

PNW-Pilot, here's an avatar for you if you want one. I stole your photo because I liked it anyway, but thought you might wan't to personalize a bit?

Nomad28, I also have to say that West Hills fessed up to the silver paint defect immediately. Gotta love integrity in a car dealership. I was sure I'd have to go point it out, and get mad. Nope. Great group of guys.

Thanks for the Avatar

I'll also add, that their prices might be more then in say Puyallup or Auburn (the boonies). But they do have great service. I talk to my sales person all the time, because they are friendly and nice.

Didn't hurt that he got me a discount on my install prices for the accessories i bought from the sponsor Tim, or through him at a good discount too.
