Anyone know of any good online resources for cycling? Road cycling that is, tons of mountain bike stuff out there. I use RunnersWorld.com religiously and am hoping to find something as established for cyclers.

Thanks,
Dave

Have you guys ever done a Century???

Back in the mid-90's, I did several of them on my Trek 1220 and they were pretty fun!!! :4: :17:

Now, with two kids, I haven't had that much time to ride and I certainly can't do a century with two kids in tow...

Yup. Did the Solvang Century a few times. Just had my 1st kid in March, but I'm still trying to get out and ride on a somewhat consistent basis.

What about the StP anyone done that? Seattle to Portland? Been wanting to do that one for several years, but just didnt get around to it. Now we are a bit far for it, but might still make the trip someday.

How many miles is that? Is it very hilly? It does sound like a scenic ride, though. Maryland has the CAM (Cycle Across Maryland) that's pretty fun, too... :)

About 180 miles I think. Not too bad. Most people do it in 2 days, but they have a 1 day race too. Lots of support. I mean tons of vans if you break down or get tired. All sorts of feeding places. I think they have a carb loading dinner the night before with spaghetti and pasta stuffs too. I still want to do it someday.

Oahu,

I checked out your family website...very cool and well done. I have a son around your boy's age as well. Tons of fun, huh?

Your wife and boy are definitely cute. You? A little nerdy looking. J/K...congrats, dude! It's cool to be a family man. :)

Thanks, well for some of the opinions! :) hah.

Awesome being a dad. Liam turns 1 year May 29th and Grandpa is coming from Hawaii so that will be cool. Hes amazing to watch grow up. Starting to cruise along furniture and all. Of course kid-proofing sucks. My nice Infiniti home surround sound I had to drill into to secure to the walls and such. Ugh. Oh well, its all worth it.
