| Does anyone else experience extreme browser slowdowns when the Missing Children banners are in a thread? I am using a Mac and this happens to me with both the Camino and Mozilla browser. |

| In your Mozilla browser, go to your Edit --> Preferences window and just turn off Java -- those missing children banners are just Java applets and if they're slowing your computer down for whatever reason, then you can disable them... |

| Keep in mind that any other sites that you visit that use Java applets will also be disabled -- just something to keep in mind (my mortgage company uses Java applets, for example). Glad I could help! :) |
