Now that we have determined that we are trying to conserve gas, the next question IMO is - How are we doing this?
Are you driving smarter, together or slower |

Ziploc's poll is asking, Are you attempting to conserve gas and to what degree? This poll is asking how you are conserving gas?
Personally, I am consolidating my trips as well as driving a bit slower. In 60 - 70 mph zones I stay at least 5mph below the speed limit. I've tried this on 2 tanks of gas and have noticed a slight increase in fuel economy (1/2 to 3/4 mph). I know this doesn't seem like much, but every little bit helps. Just think about the downstream effect if every car in the U.S. got only 1/2 mph better fuel economy. |

| I wish I could carpool or join a vanpool, but when I signed up with Commuter Connections and the car/van pool list at my work, neither could find anything for me... :headshak: |
