In none of his 42 posts has VonDrunk shown any positive interest in the Honda Pilot, and in most posts seems to take great joy in being an irritant. Of late, he's even given to posts that were edited by the moderators to rid them of inappropriate content.
Thoughtful, friendly, witty, and educational interchanges are the hallmark of this site, and some members are unable or unwilling, for whatever reason, to participate in such an engaging fashion. VonDrunk appears to be the latest to fall into the group of unable or unwilling.
Should VonDrunk be banned from the site? |

| While I agree with jay on thoughtfulness and intelligence when posting, the adolescent in me likes the stupid stuff VonDrunk does. Sure, I get tired of it sometimes, but I think he'll get tired just like other trolls that have posted here and on any other message board for that matter. The VonDrunk that wormed his way into our site was supposedly from South Central Los Angeles.
The "CarTracker" VonDrunk says he's in Montreal.
The CarTracker VonDrunk also seemed to be attempting to communicate halfway logically about an actual legit car issue.

I have no idea what this VonDrunk person said that offended you, but enough already. Is this some contest to see who can amass the most replies about nothing. You have expelled him, right? Then why not move on. I know. If I don't like it I can put you on my ignore list. Same could have been said for this VonDrunk person. A little power goes a long way. Just look at Tsar Ashcroft.
I'm not sure that what this expelled person said that could be any more offensive to women than your thong pictures. I'm sure that most of you "studs" that blast these obese women in thongs really look super in your speedos with your beer gut hanging out.

i think it was more a question of was he contributing "anything" to the site... hell, i've only been on board for a little over a week, and the guy hasn't made one post that was worth squat...

but the guy doesn't even have a Pilot... if he did, i think it would be different...
or if any of the stuff he was saying was even remotely humorous... i like a little trolling now and then when it's funny, but his sense of humor needed a bit of work...
and he tried to say the Xterra was a better vehicle than the Pilot... :1pat:

Please do not think I am defending this person. Like I said I have not read anything he wrote. However, I don't believe any thing you said in the above quote warrants removal. "What's worth a squat" is really in the eye of the reader. I'm interested in this site only for the threads that deal with the Honda Pilot, not humor, not skin, but I take the good with the absurd. Also, I think my Toyota Tundra Double Cab is better than my Honda Pilot. That is my opinion and I hope I am still allowed to have one without drawing the wrath of the "inner circle". |

I think no one will ever bash the Tundra here either, you actually have an argument, it's great. I want one! I don't think it's competition though. This guy had absolutely nothing to back his statements, and seemed to always throw in reference to drinking, completely off subject. (Not the usual understandable thread drift that happens when there are actual PERSONALITIES contributing.)
Yes, IGNORE works well. I have it enabled for a few members, then disabled it since people always quote the jackintheholes - I end up seeing their responses anyway. You can only ignore so much though. I find it best to enable ignore, AND actually ignore. It's kind of nice to be able to blow off a little steam after the fact, since we are entitled to our opinions too.
I check many threads, usually just for fun, since there are alot of great well meaning people here, and I'd like for it to stay that way. |
