All,
The Michelin CT Tires are on sale at TireRack.com in Blackwall for $98 bucks, not including the $50 rebate.

I agree, it's a very good price.
I just went to the Tire Rack site and found some interesting comparisons:
There are two different Michellin Cross Terrain tires listed in the 235/70 by 16 size, both are S rated.
One costs $128 each, the other is on special for $98 each. I can't tell the difference between them.
For comparison, and to see if they would list a different model number or some way to tell them apart, I added each of them to my shopping cart one at a time. I couldn't tell them apart, except for the price, and the shipping costs.
The tire that is $128 cost $512 for 4 of them, plus $47 for shipping.
The tire that costs $98 each cost $392 for 4, but cost $49.66 for shipping.
Both times, the warehouse they were being shipped from said Shrevesport, La, and both times I used the standard UPS ground shipping method.
Still a good bargain even if it costs more to ship a tire that is on special.
MODS: should this be moved to the Tires and Wheels Forum?

Oh man, that is tempting! I think I'd like the outlined white letters, though. They give the Pilot a sportier look.
I need to hurry up and wear out my Goodyears so I can get some Cross Terrains!!!!!:4:

Mine should be here Monday. For $98 bucks, with a $50 dollar rebate and no sales tax, I'm going to stack them in my garage until I need them. Locally, they are selling for about $135 plus tax.
Also, I like the blackwalls better. I never have to worry about keeping the letters white.

The OEM GY Integritys did just fine [actually outstanding go - I could not get them to spin, and acceptable side of marginal stop/turn] through the first two winters and still have 6/32" on them at 29K. I'll run them through Fall and then make the switch. Local tire guy advised I'd see rapid deterioration in winter traction through last half of tread life which some in these forums also consider applies to first half.

I've read and read about Michelin Cross Terrains, and this fall will upgrade. I think I'll get the raised white outline letters.
Some members have talked about fitting 245/70-16 Cross Terrains on the Factory rims.
Has anyone actually done this?
If so, do you have pics? Thanks. :)
