| Ok, let's start with a clean slate. It's interesting how Kerry was whompin' the tar outa Bush all summer in this poll , but now Bush seems to have a slight edge. |

That minivan actually belongs to John Kerry. He can't decide who to vote for, and flip flops back and forth between the two. |

that sounds like blind support of everything Bush says....
common sense to me is to question things said by the president...but to everyone his/her own...
anyways show me an article in a middle east newspaper which says they hope kerry wins 'cause he will go easy on terrorists |

With all due respect, it has nothing to do with "support of everything Bush says." Unless you think the official newspapers of tyrannical, terrorist-supporting regimes are endorsing Kerry because Mr. Bush told them to. |

Thank you for asking. Here are a few:
The June 17 edition of the English-language Tehran Times contained an article titled, "Pity the Next U.S. president." The article compared Bush and his advisers to "neo-Nazis" who created a "stinking heap of a mess" throughout the world and asserted: "Kerry is exactly what the U.S. needs right now."
An editorial in the Syria Times in August urged Arab-Americans not to make "the very mistake they made in the past when they gave their votes to Bush the Junior." Instead the government-run paper suggested a vote for Kerry would prove to be "a wise one."
On July 27, the Palestinian Authority's paper, Al-Hayat Al-Jadeeda, ran a political cartoon depicting an American soldier bleeding to death in Iraq, with his final words being, "Don't Vote Bush." (In July Israel's military intelligence chief, Maj. Gen. Aharon Ze'evi Farkash, told a Cabinet meeting that "Arafat is waiting for November in the hope that George Bush will lose the election to John Kerry." [FYI, Arafat is a terrorist.] )
During an interview on Iranian TV on June 14, Nagi Al Shihabi, the editor of the Egyptian Al-Gil newspaper, said, "We must first define the enemy. The No. 1 enemy of the Arab and Islamic peoples is the U.S. and not only Israel. … Bush, Allah willing, will go to hell in this coming November."
During his Friday sermon in the city of Qom, broadcast by Iran's Channel 2 on June 19, Ayatollah Javadi-Amoli called on Americans to vote against President Bush, saying, "We advise the people of America not to continue to tolerate this oppressing, ignorant, pillaging, criminal, and discriminating administration. In the future, do not vote for Bush and his ilk."

besides do you seriously believe that John Kerry or for that matter any other president will not protect America... |

Well, we have Kerry's 20 year senatorial voting record to use as a guide and it's not necessarily pro defense! He wasn't in touch with the realities of the cold war and he still doesn't appear to have a grasp of the reality of the war against terrorism. |

It was interesting see how my original voting suggestion was taken as pro President Bush. I never mentioned a specific candidate for that reason.
I am a freedom kind of guy. Freedom is hard work. Freedom has a cost. If you want freedom, you must be willing to work hard and pay the price. And as a nation, no one is going to do this for us. Many people understand this, but way too many people don't . This is because it is no longer taught in many schools as the socialists have taken over our education system.
I have the utmost respect for those that work hard and contribute to the cause of freedom for all. In my opinion this is really the only issue that counts in the big scheme of things.
Perhaps my view is a bit simplistic. I should add freedom within the boundaries of the law.
Please keep freedom in mind when casting your vote. |

1. Your answer is what is called a non-sequitor. It has nothing at all to do with the topic you asked me about.
2. Yes, there are extremists newspapers in this country. However, they are not the official papers of the United States govt. The quotes I provided for you are from official mouthpieces of pro-terrorist, anti-American states and/or organizations. BIG difference.
And, with all due respect, the weasel words you responded with in an attempt to deny reality of the evidence I shared, are worthy of the flip-flopper himself.
You asked me to provide the evidence. I provided it. I cannot, however, make you comprehend it. ;)
Have a good one,
Kerry

No, I don't. And I never implied that.
However, in looking at his record it is clear that John Kerry has an aversion to the use of American military force and also is very, very weak on issues of national security and defense spending. He claims otherwise today, but that's because he is a political opportunist of the worst kind.
John Kerry has made it clear that he believes terrorism is a 'law enforcement' issue and that his plan to keep America safer is to increase funding for first-responders. But first-responders (police, firefighters, etc) react to terrorist attacks, they do not prevent them.
As a taxpayer and father of three, I prefer that additional funding be directed to the apparatus designed to prevent the attacks that Kerry's first-responders would respond to.
National security trumps everything else. It is clear to me that John Kerry and the new Democrat party do not understand the war the civilized world is now fighting against radical Islamic terrorists, nor do they have the stomach to aggressively and unilaterally (if required) fight it.
Regards,
Kerry

I need to find out why I can't vote in polls.
I need to pick the least worse of the 2. I'm sure tempted not to vote. But then the whole nation would have to not vote either.
I'm at this point thinking Kerry. |
